While carrying out a job of college lecturer for more than a decade, it has been a realized by the initiator of this venture that by the end of the month, it is a business where payment of the salary is controlled by the forces which are both rigid and predatory in the current system. The teacher does not control, regulate or even monitor any of his products. It may be reduced equivalent to doing nothing or throwing pearls before swine whatever time, training or space may allow. In contrast to it, selling in open market gives a teacher-performer many more chances of selecting an appropriate set of students with a combination of right curriculum with right price though it adds up a life of insecurity to his life. This venture is built around commercial tangibility. What it means to say is that something which begins someday has to end someday too. The initiative is historically junctured in such a way that amidst all kinds of available forms of dependencies as of governments and states, of ideological organizations, of philanthropic bodies or families/communities, market dependency is the least violent form. The notion of the market here is quite cosmopolitan in spirit and detests any kind of non-competitive, alliance-based and oligopolistic tendencies possible in free market. The only rule to follow is either a result of internal ethics or an effect of external ecology determined by the culture of market. TheoryFrames has decided to enter this market with an aim of staying up to only a total of 100 projects including all successes and failures. It is going to be in the business of market-linked performance. To be confessional, the entire operations of market-lore are a bit erosive in a certain way. It erodes life the way a river erodes its banks. There is nothing like moral complaining or unethicality about it but perhaps, that is something called necessary violence; the one which cannot be avoided without dying. It may be substituted with the principle of creative destruction, though step by step. The corollary of this choice will be like a countdown to the end instead of a beginning. As the sequence of the projects is going to be descending in character, the first project would be called Project 100 and the second one would be called Project 99 and so on till the last one that would be called Project 001. |
